This site is dedicated to the memory of Bessie Ree Ward Stewart. A loving mother and grandmother, who departed this life for eternal life on April 3 2004. She was born Oct. 8 1934 to Bernice Pool and Frank Ward. She grew up in Tensas Parish and later moved to New Orleans La. after graduating high school in 1955. She was a loving mother to Kenneth, Bertha and Terry. She later married George Stewart Jr. From this union Pamela and Patricia Stewart were born. Bessie Stewart lived her life in preparation for Heaven. Her faith guided her through many hardships. She often counseled her family and friends to pray. Kneeling in prayer to give thanks or ask for guidance were a part of her daily life.
